BP Oil Spill Claims - Attorney Richard MMitzel to Help Gulf Coast Businesses

From: RichardMitzel.com Richard Mitzel an attorney here in Tampa Bay wanted to make sure you were informed of some valuable information regarding the New and Expanded BP Settlement Procedures. These new settlement procedures were just granted final approval by the United States District Court Eastern District of Louisiana, on December 22, 2012. Many businesses in the Tampa Bay area have BP oil spill claims because of the trickle down effect in the affected counties that lost tourism dollars. The theory of the trickle down effect is that if your county had a drop in tourism income following the April 2010 oil spill, that decrease in income trickled down to all forms of businesses. This ripple effect for counties along the Gulf Coast is addressed specifically in the new rules. The new settlement rules do not require a causal link between the losses and the oil spill. Instead we only need to show that loss occurred within the relevant time periods following the oil spill in April of 2010. Attorney Mitzel has prepared a worksheet to help determine eligibility.
